How far is Quinta Arca from Maputo?
About 80 km, roughly an hour and a half by car via Boane. The quinta sits right beside the Namaacha – Lomahasha border with Eswatini.
How do I make a reservation?
Send a request through the booking form or by WhatsApp. We reply personally with availability, the price and our booking terms. Your stay is confirmed in writing once any deposit is received.
Is breakfast included?
Not in the standard room rate, unless your confirmation says otherwise. Breakfast and meals are served in our restaurant, and you can order ahead.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
No. Food and drinks from outside are not permitted at the quinta. Our restaurant and bar look after you throughout your stay.
Can we come just for lunch?
Yes. The restaurant welcomes day visitors. We recommend ordering ahead so your table is ready when you arrive.
How many people can stay in a room?
Each room sleeps two. For families and groups, tell us how many you are and we will suggest the right combination of rooms.
Is there a pool?
Yes, set in the gardens with the Lebombo hills all around.
Do you host weddings and conferences?
Yes. We plan each wedding, celebration, meeting and retreat with you. Send us your date and number of guests to start.
What should we bring?
A valid ID or passport for every adult (it is required at check-in, and for crossing into Eswatini). Bring something warm: from June to August the mountain nights are cold.
Is there parking?
Yes. On arrival, please stop at reception before parking at your room.
