A family estate in the Namaacha mountains
High on the Lebombo range, an hour and a half from Maputo, Quinta Arca is nineteen hectares of gardens, flowers and hillside, where the nights stay cool even in summer.
Seven rooms, each with its own name, sit around a family house and the first tree ever to grow on the land. There is a pool in the gardens, a restaurant that cooks from the quinta, and a veranda full of plants and evening light.
We built it for the people we love, and we are happy to share it with you.
Built around a tree, not in its place.
The main house stands beside the oldest tree on the land. Everything here grew the same way: around what was here first, with room for everyone who arrives.

Letícia loves nature, flowers and plants, and the quinta is filled with them. The kitchen cooks with what the land gives.

About 80 km, roughly an hour and a half by car via Boane. The quinta sits right beside the Namaacha – Lomahasha border with Eswatini.
How do I make a reservation?
Send a request through the booking form or by WhatsApp. We reply personally with availability, the price and our booking terms. Your stay is confirmed in writing once any deposit is received.
Is breakfast included?
Not in the standard room rate, unless your confirmation says otherwise. Breakfast and meals are served in our restaurant, and you can order ahead.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
No. Food and drinks from outside are not permitted at the quinta. Our restaurant and bar look after you throughout your stay.
